Michael started under 130 lbs bodyweight. We added 200+ lbs to his deadlift and 10 lbs of lean mass in his first year while he lost 1.7% body fat. And he came in for rehab - he was hit by an 18-wheeler, told he could never train again, and wanted to "work around" his injuries. We resolved them instead. He cancelled his surgery and today he deadlifts 405+ at 175.

Keevsonn liked the energy in the gym and wanted to see his potential with our structured approach. He had no idea 10 months later he would be a Rhode Island state record holder. We took his deadlift from 240 to 586 while he lost 25.1 pounds of pure fat and gained lean mass - again, in 10 months.

Ben
Already a personal trainer in college for exercise science,
he lost 36.2 pounds of pure fat (16.4% body fat)
while gaining 8.3 pounds of lean mass in one year.
Our approach was so different from, and more effective than, what he was learning he dropped out of school.

Frank
Regional-level hammer thrower with shoulder pain.
We resolved it and added 40 pounds to his bench
in 3 weeks.
Then he lost 39.1 pounds of pure fat
while adding 8.1 pounds of lean mass in 7 months.

Let's Be Honest:
Everybody has a different starting point, so timelines can be different. You might come in skinny like Michael and not have 20 pounds to lose, or you might be much heavier and want to lose 30-40+ in your first year.
Pains, injuries, mobility restrictions? That is our specialty. We address these issues immediately. They also complement performance and physique goals because you won't need to hold back when we resolve them.
As far as strength, most of our members come in deadlifting around or less than bodyweight. At this strength level, we repeatedly see 100 pounds added to their deadlift in 6 months while they dramatically transform their physique.
But I need to speak to you and assess you personally.
That's exactly why we talk and discuss before we move forward.
How Does It Work?
We Find What's Limiting You, Then Build Everything Around That.
Most programs start with a template.
Ours starts with measurements.
1
The Foundation Assessment
Your starting point in numbers.
Joint by joint we assess mobility and tissue quality, strength ratios between opposing muscle groups, conditioning, work capacity, technique. If your hamstrings are weak relative to your quads, your deadlift stalls and your lower back absorbs the difference. You can't feel that ratio. We measure it.

3
Your Map
A plan built from what we found.
Your Athlete Development Map brings you from where you are to where you want to go in phases that build on each other. You need your phases to stack over time, and each training phase provides more information to continue refining your Map.
Nutrition
Built on your physiology, not a calculator.
We take a full account of your lifestyle and history, then run a Metabolic Analysis. This test predicts your hormone balance based on how you store body fat, allowing us to build a custom nutrition plan that goes beyond calories while saving you thousands of dollars and weeks of waiting on functional lab tests.
4
Pain Resolution
We resolve pain, we don't train around it.
Your head coach is also a licensed manual therapist who specializes in treating scar tissue, adhesions, nerve entrapments, and mobility restrictions. We receive many referrals from therapists and physicians. We don't train around pain or refer out and wait months for therapy. The way you train should resolve pain - not produce it.

6
Coaching
Coached in a private gym, 1-on-1 or with 1-3 training partners.
2,300 square feet with no public access, no large classes. You'll notice the attention to detail immediately. Training partners are matched on goals, needs and personality, because the person next to you sets the standard for the session.
Proof
You will see progress every week.
Every workout is tracked in the app. You step on the InBody yourself each week — it takes a minute — and I review your numbers alongside your training log. Every week a coach checks in personally and adjusts the plan based on how you're actually responding. When you hit a goal, we sit down and reassess.

The Honor Strength Story
From 130 pounds with injuries and multiple medical conditions that nearly ended my life to 185 pounds with multiple state records, it's taken well over a decade to build a system that can help nearly anyone completely transform their physique.
I realized the way to get the fastest results possible was to learn from the best, so I traveled the world and did just that.
I learned what it really means to have good form, and how to identify and attack weak links directly from Matt Wenning, the all-time world record holder with an 1197 pound squat and zero injuries into his 40s. I learned how to rapidly resolve mobility restrictions, build nutrition plans beyond calories, and design effective training programs directly from Charles Poliquin.

Charles also taught me the value of combining academic education with in-the-trenches experience, so I earned two degrees: one in Therapeutic Massage and one in Biochemistry. This way I can treat soft tissue, pains, and injuries as a licensed manual therapist - and I have a deeper understanding of nutrition and exercise protocols.
Charles passed away in 2018 and one month later I founded "Honor Strength," a name with several meanings. First, strength is the mother of all physical qualities, so we must honor strength. Second, these are two qualities that we must build to live a life of virtue and positive contribution. And third, to Honor Strength Sensei.
What began as a 650-square foot facility grew into 2,300 square feet purely on word of mouth. We receive referrals from physicians, therapists, and members alike, since we specialize in pain and injury resolution integrated with competitive-level physique and performance development.
Ultimately I've taken my own trials, learned from them, and refined a system I'm confident will dramatically transform your physique - and your life - as it has done for hundreds of members now.
It is a rigorous system and sometimes difficult. But it is effective.

Before You Apply
Frequently Asked Questions
1. Will I be the weakest person there?
This is a private gym. You train 1-on-1 or with 1-3 partners. Every one of them started somewhere. Michael deadlifted 85 pounds when he started and his only goal was to get out of pain. He pulls over 400 now.
2. What am I committing to?
There is no commitment. The application takes 2 minutes, tells us you're interested in the program and serious about making changes, and gives us information to see if and how we can help. You decide your commitment from there.
3. What does it cost?
After submitting the application, coach Daniel will review it and contact you within 24 hours to further discuss where you're starting from, what your goals and needs are, and what you've tried. Submitting the application is free, no card required, no catch, no commitment. We genuinely want to make sure it's a good fit both ways.
Coach Daniel will email, text, and call within 24 hours.
If we both decide it makes sense for you to move forward with one of our programs, the first step is usually our Foundation Assessment: $200 for a full structural and metabolic workup for 90 minutes 1-on-1 with coach Daniel. You leave knowing what's limiting you and what to do about it, whether or not you train with us, and this is credited toward membership if you join. If you finish the Foundation Assessment and don't feel it was worth $200, I'll refund it 100%.
Memberships are custom built for each member. The programs will be extremely different for a beginner with a severe injury, an elite strength athlete, or a dramatic physique goal - or a combination of all three, which is not uncommon.
For the typical membership (training 3 times weekly with a team) sessions break down to $50-$59 including personal weekly check-ins with progress tracking and nutrition coaching and an extensive 1-on-1 onboarding process but again, please be aware there can be dramatic differences in goals, needs, and timelines.
4. Isn't group training generic?
We don't run large groups. You can train alone or join one to three partners matched on overlapping goals and needs, which makes the room better without costing you any attention or customization. Beyond that size we don't believe you can deliver either. Foundation Assessments are always one-to-one.
5. Do I have to compete?
No. Absolutely not. But eleven state records have come out of this gym, and none of those athletes walked in planning to compete.
6. Do I need to follow a set schedule?
No. We're appointment-only and can usually fit any schedule, even one that changes week to week. Making sure you're booked is part of the weekly check-in.
7. What if I need to travel?
Tell us and we'll plan around it. If you skip with no notice there's a reschedule fee, typically $25. Otherwise we're very flexible — we're appointment-only, so your schedule can change week to week.
8. What if I have pain, injuries, or restrictions?
We resolve pain and injury regularly, and often faster than people expect. We've had members cancel surgeries and go from severe daily pain to competitive training — every one of those decisions was theirs, made with their own doctors. We coach; we don't diagnose. What we bring is structural-balance training, soft tissue therapy with a nerve entrapment specialty, and principle-based nutrition, working together.
9. Where are you located?
122 Manton Ave, Providence RI 02909 inside the historic Atlantic mill, next to the Big Top flea market and Atlantic Furniture. We opened in this area 8 years ago.
The Application
Tell Me Where You Are, I'll Tell You Honestly Whether I Can Help.
This application takes less than 2-minutes. I read every single one personally and respond within 24 hours. If this isn't the right place for you, I'll say so - and tell you what I'd do in your position.
We have 7 spots available at the time of this writing. That's math, not marketing.
It takes 4 hours per week to onboard each new member and since we do not have large groups or public access, our time is genuinely limited.
We are one of the few facilities in Rhode Island with this synergistic combination of performance physique and pain resolution in one proven program: multiple state champions, countless physique transformations, and physician/therapist recommended manual therapy, combined.
I truly look forward to speaking with you and seeing how we can help.
